Researchers from Tufts University, United States have just released a ranking list of the healthiest to worst foods. Researchers developed a new tool that ranks more than 8,000 foods and drinks based on their level of health.

The study, published in Nature Food, developed a tool called the Food Compass. This system was developed over the last three years.

This tool provides an assessment based on 54 characteristics of nine factors, namely vitamins, minerals, nutrient ratios, food ingredients, additives, processing, fiber/protein, specific lipids, and phytochemicals.

Based on these indicators, foods will be rated on a scale of 1-100, one being the worst and 100 being the healthiest.

Researchers say foods and drinks that have a score above 70 should be consumed a lot.

Here’s a list of the healthiest to worst foods:

  1. Raw fruits, almost 100
  2. Nuts and seeds, average score 78.6
  3. Fruits, the average score is 73.9
  4. Vegetables, average score 69.1
